Terms of Service
These terms describe acceptable use of the Barangay Quests mobile app and LGU dashboard.
DRAFT — for review by the LGU legal office before release. The participating LGU must have its legal office review and approve these terms before relying on them for production use.
Purpose
Barangay Quests encourages participation in community activities, learning and non-urgent issue reporting. It is an independent app, not affiliated with any government entity, and it supports but does not replace official LGU services. Official sources for government information are listed under Profile › About & official sources.
Not an emergency service
Never use the app to report emergencies. Call the official emergency hotlines shown in the app.
Be truthful and respectful
Submit only accurate reports and your own photos. Do not photograph people without their consent, children, private homes or personal documents. Do not harass anyone or misuse the app.
XP, levels and badges
XP, levels and badges recognize verified participation. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be corrected by authorized staff with a visible explanation.
Moderation
Authorized staff may review, decline or remove submissions and reports that break these terms, and may suspend accounts that misuse the app. A verified report does not guarantee that the issue can be fixed immediately.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
